The park offers four villa designs—Zeeaster, Duinroos, Zeehond and Alk—each providing the same level of comfort and luxury.

Every villa has at least one ground-floor bedroom, two bathrooms, Wi-Fi, a high chair and cot, and is set on a spacious plot for privacy.

The bungalows differ in décor but all feature a fully equipped kitchen, cosy living area, private terrace or lawn, and some even have an open fireplace.

No. None of the Kustlicht vacation parks have their own swimming pool, but guests can purchase discounted tickets for the De Parel swimming pool in nearby Domburg at the Kustlicht reception.

Several individual homes are equipped with a private charging station that you may use when you rent that specific property. Public car parks in Zoutelande also provide multiple charge points (parking fees may apply). It is not permitted to charge a car via a regular socket in the accommodation.

Please contact reception by phone or email in advance; staff will place your key in a secure safe so you can collect it outside normal hours.

You can register and collect your key at the reception desk located at Bungalowpark Het Kustlicht, Branding 11 in Zoutelande.

No. The parks themselves do not contain a supermarket or bread service. A JUMBO supermarket, bicycle rental and ATM are situated just outside Zoutelande, where the first hour of parking is free with a ticket from the machine.

The deposit is transferred back to your bank account within two weeks of your check-out date, after deduction of any applicable costs.

A 50 % pre-payment is due at the time of booking; the remaining 50 % plus the deposit must be received at least four weeks before arrival. For last-minute bookings the full amount is payable immediately. Payments by credit card are not possible.

Several local providers offer beach-cabin rental on the Walcheren coast. Examples include Strandhuis verhuur van Rooijen, Strandhuis verhuur Slabber and Strandhuis verhuur Dekker; each company rents day- or week-use cabins directly on the sand within easy reach of the Kustlicht parks.

Watersportcentrum De Schotsman, listed among the recommended attractions, provides facilities and lessons for various water sports on Lake Veere, making it a convenient option for guests who wish to sail, windsurf or paddleboard during their holiday.

Popular nearby pavilions include Beachclub Zuiderduin, Strandpaviljoen Scheldezicht, Strandpaviljoen Neptunus and Strandpaviljoen Kaapduin, all offering food, drinks and sea-view terraces along the beaches of Zoutelande and Dishoek.

An ATM is situated next to the JUMBO supermarket just outside Zoutelande; the first hour of parking there is free when you take a ticket from the machine.

It depends on the individual property. Most accommodations allow a maximum of one pet; this is shown on each property page. If you wish to bring more than one pet, please contact the reception by phone or email in advance.

The rental price already covers energy consumption, final cleaning and administration costs. Extra charges include the tourist tax (€ 2.42 per person per night) and a € 100 security deposit (different amount only for Branding 26).

Yes. A single-bed linen package costs € 15 per person, a towel package (bath towel + hand towel) costs € 9.50, and a kitchen package (tea towel + kitchen towel) also costs € 9.50. Beds are not pre-made, and double or cot linen is not available for rental.

If you cancel or leave early, no refund is given in accordance with the rental conditions. Kustlicht therefore advises guests to arrange their own cancellation insurance for unforeseen circumstances.

From 1 March to 31 October parking in Zoutelande is subject to a fee. Guests of Duinpark, Bungalowpark or Residence Houtenburg receive detailed instructions by email before arrival. The car park next to the reception costs € 0.10 for the first hour.

You can pre-book items such as a bed linen package (€ 15), towel package (€ 9.50), kitchen package (€ 9.50), pet stay (€ 9 per day), Bollercar (€ 5 per day / € 25 per week) and cot, high chair or playpen hire (€ 12.50 per item per stay period). Extras can be added through your My Kustlicht account or by contacting reception.

Recommended museums in the area include the Zeeuws Museum in Middelburg, the maritime MuZEEum in Vlissingen, the Polderhuis Westkapelle with its lighthouse exhibits, the Bunkermuseum in Zoutelande, the Marie Tak van Poortvliet Museum in Domburg, Terra Maris nature museum in Oostkapelle and the Mediterranean Plant Garden ‘Middellandse Zeetuin Uilenbroek’. All are within a short drive or cycle of the Kustlicht accommodations.

Forgotten items can be mailed to you on request; the shipping costs plus a €10 service fee are charged to you or deducted from your deposit. Items are stored at the office only for a short period.

The main booker must be at least 25 years old. Because every property is privately owned, bookings from youth groups are not accepted.

No. Because each home is privately owned, availability for the following year is confirmed with the owners first; bookings open around the middle of November.

Yes. Roof work may take place on the middle building from 3 November to 19 December 2025 and on the first and third buildings from 23 February to about mid-May 2026; Kustlicht will try to keep any inconvenience to a minimum.

Check-in is possible on Fridays between 15:30 – 17:30 and on Mondays between 15:00 – 17:00. During school holidays and high season you can check in on Fridays until 19:00. Check-out takes place between 09:00 – 10:30; the exact time is confirmed when you arrive.

Your online account shows your personal details, current bookings and payments. You can also add extras such as linen or towel packages and pay outstanding balances securely online.

Press the green button on the ticket machine to print a parking ticket that grants one hour of free parking. If you pay at the machine before leaving, the first hour will also be charged, so make sure to use the free ticket correctly.
